Finding and activating your licence key

Where your key is

Sign in at https://wbcomdesigns.com/my-account/ and open the Licenses tab. Each product has its own key.

Activating

In WordPress, go to the product's settings screen, paste the key into the licence field and save. The status should change to Active.

When activation fails

Three causes account for nearly all of it:

The site URL does not match. A licence is bound to the domain it was activated on. example.com and www.example.com can count as different sites, as can http and https. Check what WordPress reports under Settings, then General.

You have hit the activation limit. Your licence covers a set number of sites, and staging and development copies count toward that limit. If you have cloned a site, the clone may have silently consumed an activation. Deactivate the key on sites you no longer use, from the Licenses tab.

The licence has expired. Check the expiry date on the Licenses tab. Renew to reactivate.

Moving a licence to a different site

Deactivate it on the old site first, either from the plugin's settings screen or from the Licenses tab in your account, then activate on the new one.

Transferring a licence to another account
