What our support covers, and what needs a developer
We would rather be clear about this up front than say no slowly.
What support covers
- The product not behaving as documented
- Installation, activation and configuration questions
- Licence, account and billing matters
- Compatibility questions about the platforms we officially support
- Bug reports, including regressions after an update
What falls outside it
- Custom CSS and design changes beyond the product's own settings. We will often hand you a snippet as a courtesy, but maintaining it is not something support can own.
- Custom PHP, hooks and template overrides. We document our hooks and REST endpoints; writing against them is development work.
- Third-party products. If the issue is inside another vendor's theme or plugin, they are better placed to fix it. For BuddyBoss theme issues specifically, BuddyBoss support is the right destination — BuddyBoss is a fork of BuddyPress maintained by their team.
- Free-plugin customisation. Support for free products covers the product working as documented, not bending it to a specific build.
- Site-wide problems not caused by our product — hosting, server configuration, unrelated conflicts.
If you need the custom work done
We have a team that takes it on. Tell us what you are building and roughly when you need it:
- Start a project: https://wbcomdesigns.com/start-a-project/
- Book a 30-minute call: https://wbcomdesigns.com/book-a-call/
We quote in hours, so you get a number you can plan against.
