What our support covers, and what needs a developer

We would rather be clear about this up front than say no slowly.

What support covers

  • The product not behaving as documented
  • Installation, activation and configuration questions
  • Licence, account and billing matters
  • Compatibility questions about the platforms we officially support
  • Bug reports, including regressions after an update

What falls outside it

  • Custom CSS and design changes beyond the product's own settings. We will often hand you a snippet as a courtesy, but maintaining it is not something support can own.
  • Custom PHP, hooks and template overrides. We document our hooks and REST endpoints; writing against them is development work.
  • Third-party products. If the issue is inside another vendor's theme or plugin, they are better placed to fix it. For BuddyBoss theme issues specifically, BuddyBoss support is the right destination — BuddyBoss is a fork of BuddyPress maintained by their team.
  • Free-plugin customisation. Support for free products covers the product working as documented, not bending it to a specific build.
  • Site-wide problems not caused by our product — hosting, server configuration, unrelated conflicts.

If you need the custom work done

We have a team that takes it on. Tell us what you are building and roughly when you need it:

We quote in hours, so you get a number you can plan against.
